Non EU Staff

In case of Non EU applicants it is required:

An application for work permit must be submitted to the Minister of Enterprise,Trade and Employment and you will received from us a full assistance ; work permit is released in 2-3 weeks from submission date and work visa is taking 3-4 weeks:applicants can start the job in 2-3 months from the date of offer letter.

Non Eu jobseekers on general employment work permit 

General Employment Permit are the primary vehicle used by Ireland to attract 3rd country nationals (Non EU nationals) for occupations which are experiencing a labor or skills shortage.

A General Employment Permit can be issued for an initial period of 2 years and can then be renewed for up to a further three years.

After 5 years, the applicant may apply to the Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) for long term residency.

Eligibility criteria for Non Eu Jobseekers:

  • At the time of the work permit application at least 50% of the employees in a firm are EEA nationals (50:50 rule).
  • A Labour Market Needs Test is required in most cases, other than particular situations ; we will assist with the advertisement with Eures, local newspapers and online job sites.
  • The salary remuneration must be Minimum €30,000 for a 39 hours contract (14,73/hour ); Health insurance payments is considered remuneration
  • On the general employment permit, you can employ any non EEA nationals if the employment named is not in an excluded job category under the Ineligible List of Occupations for Employment Permits
